Dr. Barry is excellent! He is very calm, knowledgeable, thorough and reassuring. He explained what they saw during the shoulder operation and what to expect in the coming weeks and months. Dr. Noerdlinger and Dr. Barry were highly recommended by my personal doctor and many friends and neighbors. I would highly recommend them and their top-of-the-line surgical facility as well.

Dr. Barry ensured my son could walk, as well. 2007 Dr. Barry corrected his broken leg (due to a different surgeon/diff practice mistake) ensuring my son would not live his life as a disabled person. We have such appreciation for this brilliant and kind man.

Disinterested and dismissive of my input and thoughts. I had questions to which he replied "we only have a half an hour appointment so questions need to be kept to a minimum." Completely disregarded my spinal xray saying there was nothing wrong with said Xray, when more than one other doctor and radiologist agreed there was narrowing and degenerative issues shown. It was clearly obvious to me I was nothing more than just a number to him. I had been to Atlantic Ortho in the past and had wonderful experiences with both PT and a previous surgeon. Dr Barry should rethink how he treats patients. I have since seen another Ortho surgeon who said that my xray and symptoms clearly pointed towards a spinal issue. Seeing Dr Barry was not only discouraging but a big waste of time.

He did not check my arm mobility at all, and did not say why he wasn’t doing that. He did not ask about my pain level or ability to sleep or perform tasks. He only looked at my incisions and explained the surgery pictures. He also called staff “girls” more than once, which I found offensively sexist.

I joined Atlantic after 3 failed surgeries at another facility.Brian is great, listens to what you are telling him. Acts upon it promptly. I had a surgical consult in 2 days. They both gave me the same diagnosis and what they could do to fix it . I followed their protocol. I am 6 weeks post-op and now walking laps around my complex which I haven't been able to do for 3 years. There is a smile on all the staff , even during this difficult time with COVID.
