Great visit, Abate worked well with all my concerns and coordinated an amazing plan for improvement.

Anthony Abate was a pleasure to meet and he explained my upcoming hip replacement surgery. He answered all my questions and put me at ease!!

We expected a more thorough explanation of our MRI but felt like we just hit the high points and that Anthony was not speaking “for” the surgeon . We expected a more consultative anpproach, illustrating tears location/severity on the MRI to justify the recommended procedure. We agreed to schedule surgery, but it does not feel like a 100% informed decision without talking to the surgeon also . Post consult, we did a lot of research on our own “online” and edified our understanding & dove deeper - on the procedure- pros and cons, red zone vs white zone, PRP augmentation ,etc. I think Anthony needs to share a more clinical explanation & also, communicate more emphatically that the MRI was seen not just by the team - but by the surgeon himself. This is why we requested a separate visit with the surgeon to discuss certain specifics of the procedure addressed in the pre op approval forms, and aftermath expectations , prior to the date of scheduled surgery.
