The worst appointment I’ve had this year. Couldn’t explain reason for appointment. Just got scolded. Hadn’t seen PA in years. She lost her patient care. Took EKG even when I told her my heart was fine. Pressure was up, as usual. Reason for appointment. Dr. Gonzaba came, he disconnected wires and helped me up. Asked about my dizziness and falling maybe caused by new meds. EKG was normal. Said he’d review my meds and getting back to me. But nothing. Finished with no answers. Scrips weren’t sent to HEB. Called them to ExpressScript. Here I am 2 weeks later and not on meds I needed then. Next appointment on Jan. 5th, with not having 1 pill of 3 new meds. Nurse didn’t follow instruction I gave her. I needed call them into HEB, if not, send to them or refills to ExpressScript. Bad communication all around. This is why I don’t like PA appointments. She was different, I thought. Wrong.

I checked today for status and was told it takes 7-10 days for the process. In the meantime I have to wait and suffer with my health because of your slow process. Been going to Gonzaba Med for many years now for myself and family. I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere and the people I’ve met through the years! Yes I admit I’ve missed a few appointments due to some personal reasons! But today after a hard days work since 0400 hrs I felt very uncomfortable and angered with PA Ramirez! Today I didn’t appreciate (not one bit) when PA Ramirez chastised me because of my medical condition. When does a patient who goes in to get checkout and gets scolded? With her angered frown look on her face-no smile, she showed no remorse or care but to continue her aggressive remarks about my medical condition-hypertension! Her approach when she entered the screening room was not a good one. With the look in her face I could tell she was upset! She disrespectful and showed no compassion whatsoever towards me! I suggest maybe she needs a wellness check on herself that should include people skills, comm skills on how to talk and treat people with respect and dignity!

I have long history of migraines over 10 years as Dr Ramirez previous doctor treated me.

She went in explained everything to me but made me feel like she was down talking to me. I told her about a cut I feel I had in the area mentioned and she didn't even view the area I was speaking about She only prescribed me a pill that would rid the infection but no antibiotic that will help the irritated area and cut. When she left I wanted 30 minutes then someone came to dismiss me. Very displeased.

Very attentive knew exactly what I was talking about. Gave me a plan and options thankful for that

She is the best, she knows how to communicate with people. Pa Ramirez understands our concerns and not just tell us what we want to hear. Next to Dr. Tom Gonzaba she is the best Pa, but there are times when I would like for a Dr. to attend to me. I havent seen Dr Gonzaba for over a year. They give appointment and say the dr will see you buy when I get there I heard that he is not here that he had an emergency , he is in a meeting and ect .

If I could give her 10 stars I would. She was bright, friendly and kind. She listened to me, didn't pass judgement and asked me plenty of questions. I was fit in as a new PT/emergency because my blood pressure was at stroke level. She put me at ease.

Dr. Ramirez always has my best interest at heart...it is nice to find a doctor that cares.

Shes a great PA with a wonderful persona little but today was not one of my better days. I’ve been miserably sick for a month and doctors or their representatives don’t listen. They are not available when needed. Dr. Gonzaba always says just call when you need to. But any attempt to do leads to zero response. Appointment schedule is six months away Their answer go to hospital, and if you do, he’s the only doctor I’ve ever had that doesn’t see you there. Assigns someone who doesn’t even know why you’re there or condition your in. He’s done this to me , it’s better just to go through emergency than having them sent you. More care from a stranger than an office that you’ve visited for twenty-five plus years.
