Angela was wonderful! She re-wrapped my splint adding more cushion to the bruised heel, explained the next steps for the next week of healing prior to PT, recommended Tylenol as applicable for discomfort, and we laughed in conversation also along with my grandson Tyler, my godsend help! We talked about the upcoming boot (I have already ordered a lift for the other shoe) and the best part was her saying the incisions look excellent and keep doing what I’m doing. I no longer need to elevate during sleep overnight. Wheelchair makes life easier, waist high elevation
She said she had already met me but I was asleep, so I got to meet her twice. I asked if I behaved, she said I was a perfect patient. 😊 Angela is a lovely, friendly PA, one any patient would enjoy having as a knowledgeable caregiver.

Angela Lang, PA-C, is a licensed, board-certified physician assistant who works alongside Dr. Bartel in the treatment and prevention of orthopedic ankle and foot medical conditions and injuries. She joined Fox Valley Orthopedics in 2003 after completing her masters and working as a softball and wrestling athletic trainer. She sees all orthopedic injuries. She tends to focus on lower extremities injuries of the knee, ankle and foot.
As a foot and ankle provider, Angela treats patients independently as well as first assists Dr. Bartel in surgery. She treats arthritic conditions, tendonitis, fractures, and plantar fasciitis, in addition to ordering and interpreting X-rays/MRI results. As a means to reduce inflammation, swelling and stiffness in the foot and ankle, Angela performs therapeutic platelet-rich plasma (PRP), cortisone or viscosupplementation injections. For individuals with diabetes, Angela works one-on-one to prevent and treat foot and ankle conditions.
Member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA).
A mom to a son and daughter, Angela loves to play with her dogs, gardening, and doing DIY house projects alongside her husband.
