Andrew was professional and personable. He took time to discuss my problem with me. I’m a nurse and I really can’t think of anything that he could’ve done to have improved this visit.

As cortisone shots go, Andrew gave me two shots that were mostly pain-free.

Very knowledgeable, good listener, and sensitivity about my shoulder problems. The shot was painless (having some pain now three hours later, but I don’t think that’s his fault) and was helpful in discussing a potential shoulder replacement.

Andrew is very knowledgeable technically and has commendable professionalism. While there is an understanding for meeting high volumes of patients in a certain time frame, this demand makes the overall experienced feel forceful, rushed, and rehearsed as if every patient gets the same recitation of information. If not for the examination portion, one could argue the necessity of a visit as the duration and "feel" better qualifies as a phone call. A focus area for improvement can be with patient interaction.
Even though the information shared is in depth and thoroughly explain, the interaction was dominated mostly by the medical professional which leaves the patient without space to contribute by asking questions for learning and understanding, especially for patients who are familiar with medical terminologies and processes. Perhaps the path forward would be to try to rebrand this experience to feel less like an overwhelming speech recital and more like an even exchange of thought.
