Andrew Myler PA-C

I was raised in Michigan and attended Central Michigan University for my undergraduate studies before enlisting in the United States Army. I was selected to serve as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant and, after completing three years of training, became a U.S. Army Green Beret. I went on to serve 11 years with 10th Special Forces Group, deploying multiple times to Afghanistan, Africa, and Eastern Europe.


Seeking to further expand my medical knowledge and scope of practice, I attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program and earned my degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. I retired from the U.S. Army in 2025 after serving as the primary care manager for a unit of more than 600 service members.


Since retirement, I have been practicing urgent care medicine in Prudhoe Bay, providing care to Alaska’s oil field workforce. I enjoy delivering comprehensive primary care with an emphasis on healthy lifestyle choices, balanced nutrition, and evidence-based medicine. I place a strong value on the patient–provider relationship and believe that open communication, trust, and mutual respect are essential to delivering high-quality care. My approach focuses on finding practical, individualized solutions that align with each patient’s unique needs and goals.


Although not a lifelong Alaskan, I arrived as soon as I could. My family and I enjoy exploring all that this remarkable state has to offer and spend as much time as possible outdoors.
