It was a pleasure to have Drew tend to me as I was anxious, nervous and very unsure of the cause and course of action for my injury. He walked in and introduced himself, asked questions without just relying solely on ER intake. He was comforting, confident and accommodating of what you wanted along with his professional recommendations. Kudos Dr. Drew!

Dr. Delbridge is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. He really shows an interest in treating your issue and has a great "bedside manner". He takes the time to make sure all of your questions are answered and has the unique ability to answer them in a manner that the patient can understand. I highly recommend him and have great respect for his knowledge and skills.

Drew Delbridge, PA-C, was inspired to enter the medical field at a young age after his father was diagnosed with brain cancer. The care and dedication of his father’s medical team extended his life beyond the original prognosis, sparking Drew’s interest in healthcare. Over the years, he also witnessed the impact of orthopedic medicine through his brother’s multiple fractures and his mother’s ankle replacement surgery, experiences that deepened his passion for helping people restore movement and improve their quality of life.
Drew earned his Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology and a minor in Nutrition from North Carolina State University, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to complete his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at East Carolina University, where he received the Louise O. Burevitch Scholarship twice, an award recognizing a PA student committed to serving eastern North Carolina. His clinical rotations included orthopedic trauma surgery, sports medicine, and general orthopedics, his latter rotation taking place right here at Orthopaedics East.
