During the challenging times of the pandemic, she served as an emergency room scribe in Orlando, Florida, contributing to the healthcare frontline. Fueled by a desire to expand her impact, she pursued further education at Duke University, earning her masters and becoming a licensed physician assistant.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she found lasting love with her high school sweetheart and cherishes the joys of motherhood with their 3-year-old black Goldendoodle, who has become an integral part of their lives, almost matching her in size. Her journey exemplifies resilience, dedication, and a commitment to making a positive impact in healthcare. She is now residing in Raleigh and is excited to be a part of the spine team at OrthoNC!

Andrea has been such a support and comfort to me for the last year. Her bedside manner is absolutely impeccable and it’s evident she truly cares about her patients and their well being. My time with her never feels rushed. She is extremely thorough and attentive and takes her time explaining things in a way that I can understand. After a year of trying the lesser invasive methods I opted for surgery under her & Dr Ashanas advisement. I completely trusted Andreas judgment & was so relieved to know she would share the surgery space when the time came. I am currently three weeks post opp & I honestly wish we had done it sooner. I am so incredibly grateful to Andrea & Dr Ashana for helping me regain my life back. You don’t always realize how much an injury can impact you mentally and emotionally…and it matters when the provider caring for you is sensitive to those realities… Thank you for being that person for me Andrea. You are truly a gift to your patients & your profession.
