Amanda Canavan, PA is a certified physician assistant specializing in otolaryngology and allergy. Her love for the Philadelphia area finally brought her back in 2018 when she accepted a position at Christiana Care Health System. For the next three years, working with the ENT doctors at both Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals allowed her to gain substantial experience treating emergent, inpatient, and peri-operative ENT patients. Then in 2021, she was offered the opportunity to join ENTAD.
Through a collaborative effort with the ENT and Allergy physicians, she hopes to provide excellent patient-centered care.
When not at work or continuing her education, she enjoys spending time with her husband, watching her sons play sports, running, and volunteering.

I made an appointment with the first available person. I am glad it was Amanda. She listened carefully to my concerns and issues, was very empathetic, explained everything so clearly and set a future plan to rule out possible causes and create a treatment plan. Gives me hope! Highly recommend her.

I am very impressed with Dr Amanda Canavan. She listens to everything you have to say. Amanda is very informative and thorough and extremely helpful. I have an odd case with my ears and she’s the first Dr who actually helped me and gave me relief. It’s a great feeling to finally have a Dr who cares.
