Amanda Canavan, PA is a certified physician assistant specializing in otolaryngology and allergy. During clinical rotations, she was recruited to join a surgical group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she remained for the next thirteen years.
Her love for the Philadelphia area finally brought her back in 2018 when she accepted a position at Christiana Care Health System. For the next three years, working with the ENT doctors at both Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals allowed her to gain substantial experience treating emergent, inpatient, and peri-operative ENT patients. Then in 2021, she was offered the opportunity to join ENTAD.
Through a collaborative effort with the ENT and Allergy physicians, she hopes to provide excellent patient-centered care.
When not at work or continuing her education, she enjoys spending time with her husband, watching her sons play sports, running, and volunteering.

First time meeting her…. She was awesome! Explained everything in the dr terms but then broke it down for us non Dr people to be able to understand. She was super friendly. She is definitely someone you should request to see!! I’ll be back in 6 weeks for my next appointment.
Amanda is one of a kind. So professional and caring. She strives to treat her patients until she and the patient are satisfied with the outcome of the visit. Nothing is too much trouble; she wants to do everything possible to aid her patient. Do everything you can to keep her on your staff.
