Prior to joining Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, Alyssa gained hands-on experience in orthopedic care as an orthopedic technologist at Children’s Hospital of Alabama. In this role, she supported pediatric orthopedic surgeons across the clinic, the emergency department, and inpatient settings. Her experience includes assisting with fracture care, casting and splinting, reductions, and post-operative care, including wound management and suture and pin removal.
Alyssa earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she completed a surgical-focused program. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, magna cum laude, with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
