He was really nice and explained things very well.
The person to person meeting was excellent. However after the session was not so good. He prescribed prednisone for me. I picked up the prescription and read the attached documentation. It said that monitoring may be necessary if taking a blood thinner. I wanted to begin taking the medicine immediately but called to see if I needed monitoring since I am taken a blood thinner. I did not get an answer to my question for 5 1/2 hours. By then it was too late to take the medicine that day. I had a similar situation with a treatment I get from the VA. I called with a question about taking a med and they returned my call in 15 min. That is outstanding service. EmergeOrtho should have a system where a nurse can check with the provider and get back to the patient in a lot less than 5 1/2 hours.
