My chart says we discussed exercises, and I would be given some. The only discussion about exercises was that my daughter, who is a PT, had given me some after the initial injury and he commented that he would give me some. I was asked if I had a patient portal and they would be found there. I called Monday morning to discuss problems with the medication and to ask about exercises. My call was never returned so I called on Tuesday and was allowed to leave a message. I later received a call and was told they could be found in my portal. After looking for at least 10 minutes, I found them but I had to figure them out on my on.

EXTREMELY THOROUGH, spoke with my DAUGHTER as an individual, did not dismiss anything she was saying. Made her feel completely comfortable and was sooo nice.

He was friendly but felt he really spoke ‘above’ the patient he was speaking to who was 20 years old. She didn’t understand what he was saying and I basically had to break things down to her. No condescending but he didn’t adjust his explanations and options to an appropriate audience level.

I wish he would've, at least, discussed the x-ray results with me.

He carefully explained what the findings were for why I came in with language I could understand and he gave me his impressions and course of treatment that would best benefit me. I left there feeling that I was listened to, heard and validated to the concerns surrounding my injury. I will definitely return to OrthoNC and request Addison’s services.

Personable. We did not have any wait because we made an appt, very friendly staff. X-Ray snd wrist brace and pain Rx., all appreciated. Maybe we could have done a urine to see if purines show up. Got no relief from Meloxicam so took some Aleve snd that worked. Called the office and Addison relayed it can take 24 hrs for Meloxicam to work, which I did not know. Will f/u if pain persists.

Addison was a very thorough clinician and he deserves a bonus for the work he put in yesterday. He was running around and needed some help. I saw him pulling supplies despite the clinic being full of support staff - no one was around to be found. Son's x-rays had to be redone because an ankle series was done instead of foot. I felt like I needed to step in and help. The support staff was horrible. Despite booking my son's appointment online and waiting at home for a little over an hour, we were at NC Ortho for 1h45m. It would have been longer if I didn't just open the door to exam room and just ask if someone could just call us with his x-ray results. Although I really liked Addison and the care he provided, not sure if we will go back. As someone who works in healthcare, the inefficiencies and customer service of this beautiful, well appointed clinic were staggering. NC Ortho was all glam without substance except for one diamond in the rough and that was Addison.

I never want to injure my knees again; but if I do - i want Addison Roe to be my ortho professional! ‘Very calming bedside manner, very knowledgeable- yet explained in every day language! He administered a cortisone injection in each of my knees. Ii was so non-traumatic that I would recommend him to my grandchild. Sincerely! He and the young lady (storm trooper boot) are an amazing tag-team. I’m so happy I was in pain and could not drive further from my home! I’m resting now, following Addison’s directions and without hesitation- rate him as a 10 out of 5! Thanks Addison Roe!
