Camryn Jenkins, PTA

Camryn Jenkins is a native of Wilson, NC. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ralph L. Fike High School in June 2021. After graduating, she applied and was accepted into the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Nash Community College, where she graduated in May 2024 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant with Honors.


Camryn has always been passionate about finding a job in an outpatient setting because she enjoys interacting with patients and treating those with diverse orthopedic pathologies. Her interest in Physical Therapy began in high school after experiencing multiple injuries growing up, which exposed her to Physical Therapy. Observing the interactions between therapists and patients, learning about the duties and responsibilities of a Physical Therapist Assistant, and researching more information about the occupation confirmed that this was the career she wanted to pursue. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, journaling, and attending outdoor festivals like the infamous Whirligig in Wilson and the State Fair in Raleigh.
