Summer Ankrum, PT, DPT

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from ASU, DPT degree from Midwestern University. I have worked in outpatient orthopedics for the last year in Las Cruces, New Mexico.



I would describe myself as a passionate provider, energetic, compassionate, and empathetic. I feel these characteristics help me to form trusting relationships with my patients to make them feel seen and understood. I enjoy hot yoga and pilates in my free which, in turn, helps give me new ideas for exercises to incorporate into my own treatment plans.



Using a skillful approach I help my patients live a better quality of using a whole person approach by reviewing their entire medical history, listening to patient concerns and goals, and developing individualized treatment plans. With every patient I interact with my goal is to give them the tools they need to become empowered to help manage their pain and improve their quality of life.
