Sara is an amazing PT! She very professional, compassionate and kind.. Her methods are very effective and she is thorough w teaching me on what exercises to do at home… she made PT fun and she got me beyond what was expected in my ROM and activity level!..I’m going to miss her!!

Sara Riker, PT, DPT, OMPT, OCS, CSCS, grew up in Michigan, where she enjoyed spending time near the water. She graduated from Regis University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005 and received her orthopedic manual therapy certification from Oakland University in 2009.
Sara has spent most of her career with a focus on orthopedic rehab and is a board-certified orthopedic specialist. Her enthusiasm for fitness motivated her to obtain her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.
She enjoys treating a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic injuries, and athletes with sports-related injuries. Through her collegiate experience as a Track and Cross-Country runner, she developed an interest in treating running injuries. She uses her enjoyment of running along with her knowledge of running analysis to manage running-related injuries.
Sara believes exercise and movement are essential components of any rehabilitation process. She combines exercise prescription with her specialization in manual therapy to help patients achieve their goals and restore optimal health and function. She values the importance of empowering patients by providing them with the knowledge and resources necessary to resume the activities they enjoy.
Sara’s appreciation for the mountains and outdoors led her to Summit County. She loves trail running and regularly participates in trail races during the summer months. Sara enjoys staying active through mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and running.
