The reviews listed below were collected independently of Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
I had only one visit, but it was tough because Ruth seemed so much in her head that I wasn’t sure if she was listening to me or taking in feedback on my pain signals or not. She was short, concise, and, clinical (ha, I understand the irony of using that adjective in a clinic). I would have liked her to share what she was doing to me and why, what she was evaluating as she put me in positions that increased my distress and aggravated my nerve pain. In the end, I had a hard time processing her contradictions of my ortho surgeon and my previous experience with this pain because her explanations were terse and dismissive of my concerns. I’m going to continue to see her because first impressions are not everything and I was to trust her expertise and new insights. Nevertheless, this has been the first PT I’ve seen in years that has made me feel evaluated but unseen.

After seeing 2 previous providers that prescribe different medications that did not work she suggested getting an x-ray. It might be a bone issue that makes sense understanding that I was on Arimidex for 5 years for my second instance of Breast Cancer.
