Lea Hunt, PT, DPT is an Arizona native and has been practicing Physical Therapy here since graduating from Northern Arizona University in 2002.
He has been taken courses from Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and received his Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification in 2006 and likes to treat spine and extremity impairments with joint mobilization and manipulation.
He has been working with Post-operative patients since he became a therapist and feels very happy and honored to be working with the Doctors and Surgeons of OrthoArizona to help the patients return to full function.
He has taken courses that deal with the spine and extremities as well as sports medicine.
Lea loves to spend time with his wife, Shanna, and they love to travel to different places and enjoy movies and taking walks together.
He also loves reading history books and working out.
His bedside manner is excellent. He’s very in tune with the status cause I’m only two days after surgery so it was a lot of passive stretching. You can tell he knows what he’s doing and he’s careful gave me really good instructions for the homework. I worked with him before on a knee he’s five star every day.
He was amazing! Very knowledgeable and professional. I felt very comfortable with him. Lea made sure that I understood everything he was doing and why. I can't wait to return for another session.

Lea and his team have helped me recover from shoulder surgery very well following a structured program. Progressive in office therapy and at home exercises have given me excellent results. Lea is very patient and explains the process of healing and exercises very well.
