Dr Chatwell is an amazing therapist! He is technically skilled, knowledgeable, and kind. I had back spasms that would not stop and he helped me to stop the spasms and got me going pain free in one visit. He also taught me how to keep them from returning. I highly recommend him.

John Chatwell, PT is a Physical Therapist at Prairie Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery, PC who graduated with a Bachelor of Science – Biology, from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2013 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Missouri State University in 2017. He has traveled and trained throughout the United States from southern Arkansas to northern California, meeting and working with individuals from all walks of life in pediatric, hospital rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedic, and acute care settings.
He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), nationally recognizing him as an advanced, specialized practitioner of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. John has further training and post-graduate education in manual medicine for treatment of spine, neck, and extremity dysfunctions from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathy and certification in specialty exercise treatment programs for individuals with progressive neurological disorders, including Parkinson’s Disease.
As a Physical Therapist, John finds the greatest joy in helping patients meet therapy goals focused on the patient’s needs and desires while improving bodily and mental wellness.
Outside of Prairie, John and his wife, Christina, reside together in Lincoln, Nebraska near much of their friends and family. They regularly enjoy being outside, playing golf, touring and traveling local and national sites, and hiking.
