Joanna began her education with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas, followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University right here in Mesa, Arizona. She has additional training in Dynamic Integrative Needling (dry needling) and has previous experience in working with basketball athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Joanna focuses on heavy manual therapy and exercise, and implementing evidence-based, whole-person healthcare. She treats each patient the way she would like a member of her family treated – with the utmost respect, commitment, dedication, and compassion.
While in college, Joanna played college basketball for four years, and her hobbies include playing basketball and weight training. Joanna prides herself on being family oriented, empathetic, motivating, attentive to detail and she always goes above and beyond for her patients.
