Jason Tjeerdsma, DPT, FAAOMPT, received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of South Dakota. He completed an orthopedic residency program at HonorHealth in 2014 and a fellowship through The Manual Therapy Institute in 2017. He is dry needling certified, board-certified in orthopedics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Jason was drawn to physical therapy as a result of his athletic participation and injuries starting in grade school.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He stays busy with kids' activities, but in his free time, he enjoys golf, hunting, and woodworking.

Jason is a skilled and friendly therapist. He explains thoroughly everything we are going to do at each session.
Jason really takes the time to customize the home exercises- he does a great job with his assessments and modifying for progress.
Listens well, calm and helpful. Good ideas for trying out helpful things. First visit. Liked him and would recommend.

I was impressed with how thorough Jason was during my initial PT visit. It was clear he really cared about understanding where and why I was having pain and was eager to find the best plan to tackle it. He made sure I understood what everything meant and made the whole visit comfortable and enjoyable!
So caring and friendly. Answered all questions. Explaining each exercise and how helps after surgery. Learned a lot in this session. Amazing person and physical therapist.
