Doug was born and raised in New York. He has always enjoyed the sciences, medical, and health fields. He first received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Siena College in Loudonville, NY where he first was on a medical school path. He then changed course to attend graduate school at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY where he earned a B.S. in Allied Health Science and an M.S. in Physical Therapy. He began his career at Rusk Institute at NYU where he worked through various departments including in & outpatient, cardio-pulmonary, and general rehabilitation departments.
He then traveled cross country with his 2 younger brothers for 2 months exploring this beautiful country and many of its breathtaking national parks. He returned to upstate NY where he got married to his wife Patricia and had two children, daughter Kayla and son Daniel. At the same time, he began a PT practice with his physical therapist brother in 2002. They grew to 3 locations serving several orthopedic and many medical practices in upstate NY. This is where he truly developed both his clinical and entrepreneurial skills over 15 years. He enjoyed treating local college and high school sport injury, orthopedic, pre & post-operative care, work-injury, and various geriatric and neurological ailments.
In 2015, Doug and his brother sold their practice to one of their employees and Doug followed a dream of his to move to Arizona. He moved his wife and 2 children to the west valley where they settled in the Estrella Mountain Ranch community of Goodyear, AZ. Here he enjoys being involved in the community youth sports program coaching both his and other children in soccer, baseball, basketball, and flag football. He also enjoys travelling with his family and friends to Mexico and various surrounding areas of Phoenix, watching live music, camping, and spending time at the lake wave running or riding the family ATV.
