Courtney is from West Virginia and obtained a Masters in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 2005. She later received a transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy through the Evidence in Motion Institute for Health Professions in Falls Church, Virginia. Courtney’s experience is primarily in orthopedics, but she has also done PRN work in home health and skilled nursing facilities. She and her family moved to North Carolina in 2011. She enjoys working with patients with orthopedic issues across the lifespan. While working on her doctorate, she also received Manual Therapy Certification, specializing in mobilization and manipulation of the spine and peripheral joints.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, traveling, running, and skiing.

Courtney was very good at explaining what our plan would be and different pieces of each exercise and how they all work together to get to the final goal.

I've been very pleased with Courtney. She is very professional and knows her job very well. She takes her time and explains everything and makes sure I understand why and what she is doing with each excercise. She is friendly and conscience. I would definitely recommend her to everyone I know.
I've had many therapists in the last few years but Courtney is the best. She listens and takes everything into account when planning my recovery.
