I have extensive experience working with all body parts and patient populations. I have a strong interest in the lower extremity, with emphasis on the foot and ankle. While I enjoy working with an active and athletic population, anytime I can help improve anyone’s quality of life, no matter to what degree, makes my job worthwhile. I have training in a multitude of treatment techniques, including but not limited to Dry Needling, Graston Technique, Kinesiotaping, Myofascial Release, Mulligan, McKenzie, Spinal Manipulation, TPI certified, LSVT BIG, amongst others. I also spent 10 days in Haiti in 2010 where we provided 15 patients with prosthetic legs after the Earthquake that left the country devastated.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active, including playing golf, volleyball, basketball, softball, running, hiking and lifting weights. I enjoy taking vacations with my wife, two sons (Connor and Logan), and friends back to the East Coast to see old friends and family and go fishing or taking skiing trips.
I believe in making good first impressions with my patients and creating a safe, happy, and comfortable environment for them that they don’t dread coming to multiple days a week. That said, I tend to be straightforward with my patients. I explain what is happening thoroughly as if they understand what is happening, they will be more likely to be compliant. I also tend to push my patients within their means, as I feel as though if I don’t challenge them, I am doing them a disservice, I am wasting their time and money, and I am less likely to meet their goals.
Austin is truly an outstanding therapist! After a carpal tunnel injury, he guided me through a tailored recovery plan that had me back to normal in just 3 months. Now, he’s helping me address some issues with my knee, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Austin’s approach is clear and direct, with detailed explanations that make me feel confident and informed throughout each session. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my progress. I highly recommend OrthoArizona at Greenway if you’re looking for top-notch care!
Most outstanding physical therapist I’ve ever worked with. Knowledgeable, supportive, and respectful of his patients and he demonstrates compassion and empathy for everyone.
I feel like a new person.
Austin, is knowledgeable in knowing what the body needs to get better and improve in mobility. Highly recommend
Very informative professional
Austin was very thorough in his assessment and explanation of my PT plan.
Good at his specialty. Cares. A great manager of the facility. The therapy is personal.
Healing hands; liked his therapeutic approach. personable; relatable.
Fun and focused. Austin's whole staff is that way. I look forward to P/T, but one word of caution, you can be laughing your fanny off one second, but the next second you are right back to the reason you are there.
Austin was great- very understanding and complete
