Austin Beard received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2015 from Campbell University where he majored in Kinesiology. At Campbell, Austin played baseball for the Fighting Camels for four years. After finishing his undergraduate studies, Austin remained at Campbell for his physical therapy training, where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. Since graduation, Austin has practiced as a traveling physical therapist, completing assignments in outpatient and acute care settings in Mississippi, Wisconsin, and North Carolina.
Austin has completed continuing education in persistent pain management through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. He has a passion for treating fitness minded and active individuals, in addition to athletic populations and patients with general musculoskeletal pain.
Now living in Raleigh, Austin enjoys CrossFit, biking, and hiking, returning to the North Carolina mountains where he grew up as often as he can.
