Dr. Todd Mishima, O.D., grew up in Southern California and attended UC San Diego with a BA in biology. After college, he attended Pacific University College of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree. He received his clinical training at the San Diego Naval Hospital and various clinics in the Portland, Oregon area.
Dr. Mishima has been practicing optometry in Southern California for over 30 years. His interests include primary eye care and medical optometry, with an emphasis on post-op care and the diagnosis, treatment, and comanagement of various ocular conditions and diseases of the eye. Outside of work, Dr. Mishima enjoys spending time with his family, taking trips to Hawaii and Las Vegas, exercising, and going on his annual deep-sea fishing trip.

Doc Todd is compassionate , listens to patients concern . He does not beat around the bush , direct and explains the health plan to the patient . Very good manners ... After waiting for so long to have a cataract removed from my Mom's eyes ... previous doctor's keep on delaying the schedule of her procedure ... it took 5+ years waiting for it to happen and causing her vision to deteriorate more . My Mom lost hope already ... one visit and evaluation with Doc Todd , she was evaluated right away for the problem ... and a revisit schedule to focus on the issue was done . These are the kind of doctors who are passionate with their specialty ... my family appreciates your professionalism Doctor Todd ... may your tribe increase and God bless you 🙏
