Dr. Gill grew up in Montreal, Quebec. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences and Biology from the Marie-Victorin College in Montreal, graduating as the valedictorian of her school and with special distinctions from the Science and the French departments.
Dr. Gill received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Montreal School of Optometry. During her last year of study, she received the American Optometric Foundation – Carl Zeiss Vision Fellowship award, the Eschenbach Award for Excellence, the LWW Vision Care New OD Scholarship and a Research Scholarship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Upon graduation, she moved to Minneapolis to complete her optometric residency at Minnesota Eye Consultants, specializing in ocular disease and surgical co-management.
In 2011, Dr. Gill joined Minnesota Eye Consultants as a staff optometrist after spending a few years in private practice. Besides primary eye care, she enjoys surgery co-management, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Minnesota Optometric Association.

Dr Gill is excellent. She is very thorough in her exams and in explaining my medical issues to me. Plus, she’s just a very nice person.
Dr. Gill is so thorough and personable. She is easy to talk with and explains eye concerns well. She is the reason I come to this eye clinic.
She tried to understand my rare HypoPARA disease. I tried to explain high calcium causes calcium deposits. It’s a hard one for Doctors but especially eye doctors to understand. How it affects different parts.
