She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Nicole is a very competent provider. She is focused, responsible and attentive to detail. She detected a contact in my eye that I thought had been removed 3 weeks prior to my appointment. The contact was NOT detected by 3 other providers, including the surgeon. Nicole detected it immediately and removed it.

Even tho she is very skillful and knowledgeable she still remained understanding compassionate and friendly toward me and made me feel like I was her only patient in the moments we spent together

Dr. Bergman has previously worked as a Student Clinician as well as an Eyewear Consultant, gaining valuable Optometric experience in the field. Throughout her training and education, she has received several honors, including a role in the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Tomb and Key Honor Society, and Clinical Honors in all three years of independent clinic at Illinois College of Optometry.
Dr. Bergman recently volunteered for the 2022 Special Olympics and is already looking forward to doing it again next year! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking new recipes, playing board games, exploring new cities and restaurants, and spending time with her friends, family, and fiancé.
