Doctor Vatanpour said hello and that I could pick up my glasses up front after the exam BEFORE introducing herself or confirming my name. She clearly did not read my chart where she would have seen that I have lens implants and can get vision adjustments. She did not have to be personable but she should introduce herself first and try reading patient charts.

Dr. Vatanpour holds a Therapeutic Optometric License from the Texas Board of Optometry, as well as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist license. She has special interests in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, myopia management, and specialty contact lens fittings.
Her externship training included a semester rotation at Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas, where she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of ocular pathology and advanced contact lens fittings, including myopia control. She also completed a semester rotation at Joint Base San Antonio – Fort Sam Houston, where she managed numerous cases involving corneal foreign body removal, minor surgical procedures, and ocular disease while providing care to active-duty military personnel and veterans.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Vatanpour enjoys camping, playing ping pong, and spending time with her family, including her husband and two sons.
