Dr Bement has been a huge help to me.Her medical expertise quickly diagnosed my eye problem as a systemic disease-not an eye condition. She explained it to me and immediately ordered medical tests to diagnose my condition. She was correct in her belief I had autoimmune disease, and her advocacy encouraged me to pursue proper diagnosis and treatment. In addition, she has personally spoken with providers from other medical systems to assure continuity and follow up. She has remained involved in my diagnosis and care plan, and reassured me that the recommendations from other providers were appropriate. She cared enough to be certain I was truly taken care of. She will follow me through my immunotherapy, treating my eyes as I move forward.
I am so pleased to say that Dr Bement lives the oath she took, cares about patients’ overall health and wellbeing, and is assertive in using her expertise to guide patients to proper care.

Dr. Bement completed her optometric fellowship with Minnesota Eye Consultants from 2023–2024, further enhancing her clinical expertise in advanced eye care. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2023 from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, graduating Cum Laude. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Winona State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2018.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Bement enjoys outdoor activities, quilting, knitting, and supporting her favorite hockey teams—the Minnesota Wild and her alma mater, the Ferris State Bulldogs.
