Her clinical training spans several prestigious institutions, including the VA Hospital in Newington, CT; Manatee Rural Health Clinic in Bradenton, FL; and private practices in Chandler, AZ, and San Diego, CA. These experiences have equipped her with the skills to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of ocular diseases, such as dry eyes, red eyes, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and hypertensive retinopathy. Having spent her childhood in Taiwan, Dr. Chu is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Spanish, enhancing her ability to connect with a diverse patient base. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys family time, hiking, travel, culinary exploration, and cozy coffee shop visits.
