Dr. Jodie Gordon, O.D.

Dr. Jodie Gordon is a native Michigander who grew up Downriver and graduated from Michigan State University and the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. She completed internships in low vision, special needs, ocular disease, primary care, and LASIK management. While in college, she worked as an ophthalmic technician at Michigan Eyecare Specialist. Her early career was in retail optometry, and for the past nine years, she has worked alongside an ophthalmologist in private practice in Metro Detroit. Dr. Gordon takes pride in resolving patients' concerns, such as dry eye relief, post-op care, optical demands, and disease detection. She is proficient in fitting soft and gas permeable contacts, including multifocals, and enjoys finding solutions to improve patients' quality of life. In her personal life, she is married with three kids, the oldest attending Michigan State, and she enjoys nature, hiking, camping, running, and the beach.
