Amy Cecil, O.D., is an Optometrist in Basalt providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.
As a licensed Optometrist, Dr. Cecil provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Cecil is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Cecil is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Cecil works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Cecil's dedication to continuing education that our Basalt patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
Dr Cecil is so thorough! She also listens and explains well. I appreciate how much time she spends with me during my exam.

Dr. Cecil takes the time to listen and address patient tissues. Her exams are thorough as are her follow up and and recap assessment of the visit. I highly recommend her.
