I had a eye issue and I love how the practice actually answers the phone during lunch - took my concern seriously and saw Dr Zhang within a hour - after a exam she explained what it might be and the next steps I need to take and before I left the office the staff set up those appointments- I am grateful for the care I received

Dr. Zhang is thorough, brilliant, compassionate, and her staff is also knowledgeable and kind as well. After a three hour pre-op for cataract surgery visit I am more confident that I made the right choice. I was well taken care of by an excellent team. I go into my surgery with complete confidence that I will have excellent results.

Dr. Zhang is professional, knowledgeable and extremely kind. Her exam was thorough and she explained everything in detail without making me feel rushed. I also really appreciate her staff. They are very friendly, efficient, and most importantly my appointment was on time. I’m so happy I found an ophthalmologist I trust near my home. I highly recommend!

Dr. Zhang earned her medical degree in 2010 from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She then completed a Transitional Year Internship at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania and her Ophthalmology Residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. During her final year of residency, she served as Academic Chief Resident. She returned to the East Coast to pursue a Fellowship in the cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Zhang has given talks and presented posters from research projects at national Ophthalmology conferences. She has also authored multiple peer-reviewed articles regarding corneal diseases. Dr. Zhang additionally speaks both English and Mandarin.
