Kept me waiting for an hour. Front staff refused to discuss pricing with me at all. I was charged $285 for a simple exam, font staff became less Tyan friendly when I politely questioned the amount. The Dr. Was 45 minutes late, & it was obvious he was rushing through his part of the exam. I definitely would not go back.

Typically very late to see patient. My appt was 3pm, did not see doctor til 3:45pm.

I have been having post op symptoms from my cataract surgery. Dr McRee did NOT schedule other appointments except the one following the surgery. He displayed NO concerns to alleviate pain & pressure in my eye. I made appointments on my own. None of the medications helped. Finally on my own I made an appointment for acupuncture treatments which has alleviated 80% of the symptoms. When I had another follow up appointments with Dr McRee and told him I had stopped all treatments he recommended and started acupuncture he didn't seem to care that I had to go outside his treatment to get relief. I have no confidence in him.

It wasn't Dr. McRee's fault but think my eyes were over dilated because I couldn't see for quite a while so just kept my eyes closed for about 2 to 3 hours after my appointment.

Dr. McRee is wonderful in explaining all options and procedures thoroughly without making you feel rushed!

Dr. McRee was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained why my vision is getting worse due to cataracts. Explained why the vision in my left eye has gotten worse, why I see double and why everything is blurry. The only complaint I have is that my surgery date has been planned for me and I can't get the surgery until October! I already have such poor vision especially in my left eye that I am afraid to drive!

Ray got a thorough exam, a prescription, and options if the prescription doesn't work.

Explain what he is doing and what needs to be addressed if any. Never in all the times have I felt he was in a rush.

Too rushed, poor explanation of how trifocals cannot have differential prescriptions for phone viewing, screen viewing and distant viewing, that it is impossible. No time to discuss migraine auras.

What a great experience! I had an urgent situation heading into the weekend and contacted the SLO office for an appointment. They were so kind in suggesting I go to Paso Robles which is much closer for me. Was seen 2 hours after that phone call and my problem was remedied by Dr, McRee within 8 minutes.
