Dr. Steven Lin is a fellowship-trained, retina specialist who has dedicated more than 20 years to providing exceptional retina care to his patients. Dr. Lin joined Desert Retina Consultants in 1998 and is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment for retina conditions of all types including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal tears and detachments, retinal occlusions, and more.
He earned his medical degree and completed his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate in New York. He completed his fellowship training at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he also taught ophthalmology residents. Today, Dr. Lin is an assistant clinical professor at Loma Linda University Medical Center. When he’s not providing care to his patients, Dr. Lin is an avid sports enthusiast. He loves playing sports and is happy when spending time or traveling with family and friends.

Dr. Lin is one of those rare medical specialist who takes the time to get to know his patients, spends time listening and answering questions, and has a positive and upbeat attitude. His staff thinks highly of him as well. I've been his patient for 5 yrs. and trust his advice.

Dr Lin is an amazing professional. I’ve been seeing him since October of 2020 for retinopathy and through a variety of procedures the care and respect of Dr Lin and his office has never wavered. 11/10. No notes. Easily one of my favorite specialists.
