She explained the process to me that needed to be accomplished in a way that I understood. I did not feel rushed. Also compliments to her staff and pa they were really helpful and compassionate as well.

She was the best. She explained everything she was doing to my eyes in words I could understand and she made me feel very comfortable during a time when I was scared I could go blind.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego. She then received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Allen completed her training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, where she served as both an intern in General Surgery and a resident in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Allen has years of experience providing eye care to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.
