She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego. She then received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Allen completed her training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, where she served as both an intern in General Surgery and a resident in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Allen has years of experience providing eye care to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. She has also trained and mentored ophthalmology residents and fellows from prestigious institutions including UCSD, UCSF, and USC. Her expertise includes PRK, LASIK, SMILE, and ICL procedures.
