I remember going four years ago to this office with the same doctor he was kind of rude. Nothing has changed, but anyways, I will not be going back again.

Dr. Beckendam is a very friendly and well spoken and educated Physician. I was very pleased that he was able to see me on a very short notice. The whole office and staff were great. I would recommend them to everyone.

Dr Peter Bekendam is a very helpful Doctor and he takes the time to explain the results of the tests and all the choices for the patients needs .

The place as always we're treated with respect...staff are very courteous ....
But we were not seen by Dr. Bekendam.

Could be a little bit more compassionate but ok visit. Almost felt like I was bothering his day. I am also in healthcare and I treat my patients with compassion even if I am having a bad day.

Dr. Peter Bekendam currently serves as Medical Director for Pacific Eye Institute and has been a part of our team since 2016. In addition, he is excited to expand his surgical practice to include operating out of the practice’s new High Desert Surgery location in Apple Valley, starting in the summer of 2022.
In addition to his role as a practicing ophthalmologist, Dr. Bekendam currently serves as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California, where he earned his own Medical Degree in 2004.
Dr. Bekendam is the Founder and President of Sight Restoration International, a non-profit organization which works to bring vision-restoration surgery to patients in developing countries. He was also honored to be elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society while in medical school.
