I was going back-and-forth to eye doctors and I got no results So I requested for someone who’s been there longer and I got Peter Bekendam He is amazing. He is the best I mean I had dry eyes. My eyes would not stop tearing he came right in there and he figured it out. He also did my new lens and, I can see as clear as day.Best doctor ever .

Doctor Peter D. Bekendam is my favorite ophthalmologist!!! He is thorough in his evaluation; he asks relevant questions to get to the bottom of an issue, and gives recommendations. On top of the above, he is truly compassionate and down-to-earth. Trust is H-U-G-E for me. I feel good being his patient. My late mom was his patient. No warning before i arrived. As Part of my eye exam my pupils were dilated. I was discharged after exam. Walking out the door I was blinded by the sunlight. There was no way I could have drove to 30+ miles home. Thank god I had a medical transport ride. Last exam I was told I could not drive home they need to do the same here. Before someone dies. Besides that little slip everyone here was a professional and every thing was great

Always a pleasure, thorough, clear and extremely patient explaining health contion , prognosis, and treatment plan. But, most importantly, he makes you feel valued as a patient and not rushed like cattle. So glad to have him as my Eye specialist.

After waiting approximately an hour after appointment, Dr Bekendam took about 5 minutes to examine my eyes and didn’t take my concerns seriously enough . He seem in a hurry and left the room for his assistant to finish up. I find his arrogant attitude and lack of compassion very unprofessional and appropriate for elderly patients like myself and my wife. It seems that he and his staff are overwhelmed with the amount of scheduled appointments. I’m very concern about my eye care.

My only issue is getting a hold of the office without going through an exchange. That is a big problem with this office. It took over a month for my pharmacy to contact them about a prescription due to not a direct line.

Dr. Bekendam is not only an exceptional physician he is also a very caring physician. This in my book makes him a terrific physician plus I am confident of his experiential knowledge and he trustworthy.
