The reviews listed below were collected independently of Minnesota Eye Consultants through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
I waited 30 minutes for Dr Riedel. When he came in, he was there 5 minutes and said everything was excellent and return in 6 months. I was 1 hour late to work and was docked the time. If patients can't be taken timely, don't have so many appointments. Waiting 30 minutes at 10 am in the morning is not fair!

He served as the president of this organization during his last year of medical school.
After completing an internship year at Hennepin County Medical Center, he then pursued his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Iowa, consistently ranked one of the top five ophthalmology training programs in the nation. He served as chief resident during the last six months of his residency.
Dr. Riedel continued his sub-specialty training, completing glaucoma and cataract surgery fellowships at the University of Utah John Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, and has been in practice since 1998.
As an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Riedel is actively involved in the clinical and surgical education of residents and fellows. He is an instructor in ocular pharmacology at Regions Hospital, and a consultant for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis.
