He received his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. He then completed his M.D. and Ph.D in Pathobiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also received his certificate of Business Administration while in Illinois. Dr. Fillmore completed his internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN and his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Iowa.
He has been the recipient of many honors and awards, and has presented his work at national and international conferences. He has published many articles in scientific, peer-reviewed journals, including his most recent work on lamellar corneal transplantation.
Dr. Fillmore and his wife, Amy, have nine children, and enjoy living in Southern New Mexico. He is available for appointments in Alamogordo, Las Cruces, Deming and T or C.

Last night I woke up freezing my teeth were chattering my thermostat showed 70 degrees this was a new drug cost more than usual but I don’t want it again
Awsome place and a top notch Dr. with a big heart
The old office building of Fillmore is a warren of hallls and dark little rooms. If a person is left in one of the tiny dark rooms they would not know how to safely get out if there was a fire. This building should be inspected by OSHA to determine if it is safe.
Despite the big number of patients I didn’t wait too much
They are always very professional and kind.
