Moisés Enghelberg, DO, MSc

Dr. Moisés Enghelberg, D.O. is a highly experienced Board-Certified ophthalmologist who specializes in vitreoretinal surgery. With extensive expertise and fellowship training, he focuses on treating diseases of the retina, macula, and vitreous. He received his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at Larkin Community Hospital. Dr. Enghelberg is also proud to contribute to the field as an educator by sharing his knowledge and training future ophthalmologists.

Hailing from Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Enghelberg brings a unique perspective and a multicultural approach to patient care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he’s able to effectively communicate and connect with a diverse patient population, ensuring every individual receives personalized and comprehensive treatment. Dr. Enghelberg expands the capabilities of our team and we’re thrilled to offer high-quality retina care to our patients. His expertise, combined with his compassionate approach to medicine, will enhance the vision and lives of those under his care.

Beyond his dedication to his patients, Dr. Enghelberg has a passion for reading literature and cooking. He also enjoys traveling because it allows him to explore new destinations and immerse himself in different cultures.
