He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio and his fellowship at the University of Miami’s premier Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Weiss is a member of the Academy of Ophthalmology and has authored numerous publications. He was recognized by the University of Texas as the 2021-2022 Ophthalmology Resident of the Year.
In his free time, Dr. Weiss is often outdoors, and enjoys swimming, camping, hiking, and biking.

Always informative and very professional
I appreciate the concern for my eye health and well being from Dr. Weiss. He reassured any concerns I had and performed surgery to improve issues caused from Fuchs Dystrophy. My recovery is on track and already eyesight is improved! I highly recommend Dr. Weiss of Icon Eyecare.
