Dr. Henao is a fellowship-trained, retina specialist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases, with a particular interest in age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and ocular injections, and more.
Dr. Henao is a graduate of Loma Linda University, earning her Medical Degree from the School of Medicine there. Dr. Henao then went on to complete advanced retinal training, including an Internship, Residency, and Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at the Loma Linda Eye Institute.
Dr. Henao is a native Spanish speaker and is accepting new patients at our Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and Riverside offices.

Very thorough and pleasant doctor and not much wait time. I highly recommend this office.
Lot of pain in eye after injection when I got home. 8 hours later still very painful. This is second time that I had after effects . I believe she did not provide appropriate cleaning of the eye after injection after specify asked to do so given the prior injection 6 weeks ago. There was no problem after my first experience with her but her assistant cleaned the eye and there was no problem Am thinking of going to the ER if pain continues much longer.

From the minute I walked in the door. The office was extremely professional. Every employee was polite, and the service was five star. The doctor was amazing. She was patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything. Definitely the best ophthalmologist I have ever seen. I would highly recommend her services.
