Mark Jaffe, MD

Dr. Mark Jaffe, M.D., has a unique ability to perform a host of delicate procedures around the eyes while taking advantage to cosmetically enhance a patient’s appearance. The eyelid area requires a great deal of expertise and should only be entrusted to a surgeon with the highest level of ophthalmologic and eyelid surgery training. Dr. Jaffe is an Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, also known as an Eyelid Surgeon, Oculoplastic Surgeon, or Oculofacial Specialist. He has received extensive training in eyelid surgery and orbital surgery, as well as surgery in the adjacent regions of the face.

Dr. Jaffe’s honors include a Special Achievement and Excellence Award in Basic Science and Plastic Surgery Research in 1991, acceptance into the Honors Research Program at MD Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute in Houston, Texas, the Florsheim Merit Scholarship, and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Jaffe specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery involving the eyelids and surrounding area, including the forehead, orbit, lacrimal system and eyebrows. Dr. Jaffe also has experience performing cosmetic procedures such as upper and lower blepharoplasty, brow lifts, and laser resurfacing, as well as performing many medically necessary reconstructive procedures. He has substantial surgical experience with the CO2 laser and is recognized as a pioneer in his field. He has designed and patented surgical laser instruments to promote the safety of patients and improve surgical outcomes.
