The issue is the scheduling in general. I’m there an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes to get the shots in my eyes in the waiting room. There are many of us that have been waiting there close to two hours. I’ve never gotten in there in 45 minutes or an hour. I’m told that she’s double booked all day and she told me that she is aware of that that makes it difficult for those of us that are older And have to sit there with all those people all that time when we’ve had to have somebody give us a ride and they wait in their car. It’s very frustrating.

Dr. Spiegel earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. She continued her education at the University of Kansas, performing an internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Spiegel then completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and medicine at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
