He is committed to education and long-term family care of adults and children. He provides comprehensive eye exams for patients with most forms of insurance as well as charitable care through EyeCare America and the VA Hospital. His interest in International Ophthalmology has taken him to Asia, the Pacific, Africa, and Europe. He has received recognition as a Top Doctor from the American Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American College of Surgeons, Fairview Foundation, Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine, and the Sight and Hearing Association.
An avid Minnesota sports fan, Dr. Gullingsrud enjoys travel, national parks, scuba diving, hiking, and bicycling. He has a passion for volunteerism and regularly participates in eye screenings and free clinics in Minneapolis and has been a part of the Minnesota Special Olympics since 1991. But most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
