People skills need improvement. You was Abrupt, impatient, and in a big hurry. Perhaps he had a busy day, but another person indicated my sentiments as well.
Late. Hurried. Been patient for years and it’s ground hog day every check up. Not familiar with me or history. Test results vary greatly based on who is doing them at SAME visit.

Outstanding doctor and care team. Wait times can sometimes be unfortunate. Had a 2 PM appointment and waited 40 minutes in the room w/ no contact. Understand there was an emergency prior, but just tell people there’s a delay

Dr. David S. Dr. Michelson brings his love of the latest new technology, techniques, and proven treatments to his patients using personalized and customized treatment plans.
Dr. Michelson grew up in La Jolla and is passionate about serving the eye health needs of the community. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Yale University (graduating Magna Cum Laude) he received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and followed with an internal medicine internship at Johns Hopkins University Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
As a medical student, Dr. Michelson received clinical elective honors and internships in otolaryngology and eye pathology, graduating in the top third of his medical school class.
After completing a three-year residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Dr. Michelson returned home and began working with La Jolla locals – helping care for the eyes of the people from his childhood hometown.
A fun thing to know about Dr. Michelson is that he played drums in several rock bands in order to help pay his way through college and medical school.
