Very confident in Dr. Chdn’s skills and knowledge but 4 hours wait time for my appointment is not acceptable. Needs to better organize his appointments so that his patients do not have to wait so long. Very cold in his personal office, not the waiting room.

Dr Chan, is a very patient doctor he explains everything to you and when he gives you an injection in your eye, he numbs you really well so you don't feel it i've been coming to Dr. CHAN for years I highly recommend Dr. CHAN for a retina doctor.. his office staff is very nice and helpful too.

Dr. Chan obtained his medical degree and ophthalmological training at Loma Linda University, with fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He founded the Desert Retina Consultants (SCDRC) and is the medical director of Inland Retina Consultants (IRC). Today, Dr. Chan is an associate clinical professor at Loma Linda University and is a member of the Retina Society, Macula Society, and Club Jules Gonin — national and international retina honor societies.
Dr. Chan is a passionate and accomplished researcher; he is dedicated to advancing the field of ophthalmology through involvement in clinical trials which focus on finding better treatments for our patients with sight-threatening eye diseases. Dr. Chan and his team of coordinators have been actively involved in research studies since 1995 and are proud to increase the overall standard of vision care for patients through new technologies and therapies. Additionally, Dr. Chan is extremely passionate about teaching through hands-on examples, lectures, and writing in specialty journals. Books are his passion.
