I put off this eye surgery for 2 yrs because I was so nervous now that the more advanced cataract eye is done I was supposed at how fast and comfortable I was next is left eye with no problems I really like Dr Larsen she really explained and made me feel better about the surgeries thank you

Dr. Larsen completed her doctor of medicine degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. During medical school, Dr. Larsen received the Bookmeyer Scholarship, the Rudolph & Gerald Schenken, MD Scholarship and the Nebraska Medical Foundation Student Research Grant. She obtained her ophthalmology residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident and was honored with the Outstanding Resident Research Award.
She completed her fellowship in Glaucoma at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI and was awarded a number of other scholarships and grants throughout her academic career.
Dr. Larsen is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She has been heavily involved in medical mission initiatives, including participating as an associate Ophthalmologist with ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital during a service mission to Surabaya, Indonesia in March 2012.
