I have had such consistently satisfying appts with Dr. Larsen and always look forward to seeing her. She is such a warm friendly person - despite it being a short visit. She's patient and always been willing to take the time to answer whatever questions I have.
Last visit when I started to feel worried that I could lose my eye sight, I felt reassured that my current pressure after recent surgery, looks good and that in the future if the pressure got worse there are additional options.

Dr. Larsen completed her doctor of medicine degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. During medical school, Dr. Larsen received the Bookmeyer Scholarship, the Rudolph & Gerald Schenken, MD Scholarship and the Nebraska Medical Foundation Student Research Grant. She obtained her ophthalmology residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident and was honored with the Outstanding Resident Research Award.
She completed her fellowship in Glaucoma at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI and was awarded a number of other scholarships and grants throughout her academic career.
Dr. Larsen is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She has been heavily involved in medical mission initiatives, including participating as an associate Ophthalmologist with ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital during a service mission to Surabaya, Indonesia in March 2012.
