Dr. Ahmed Soliman, M.D. is fellowship trained in Cornea and refractive surgery. In addition to cataract surgery, he performs all types of corneal transplants including: endothelial keratoplasty, cross-linking and pterygium surgery. He has particular interest in laser vision correction procedures including LASIK, PRK and Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery. Dr. Soliman received his medical degree from Cairo University Kasr Alainy School of Medicine graduating as the valedictorian of his class. He completed his subspecialty training at Harvard Medical School, The University of Minnesota and The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas where he remained on faculty teaching fellows and residents cornea and complicated cataract surgery. Prep staff was very professional and she was also comfortable with accommodating my disability. Then Doc S continued the excellent experience, again accommodating without a second thought. Very careful to explain my treatment options and future treatment implications.I was in and out in no time, with a high comfort with my next steps to improve my current vision and longer term options as my eyes age along with the rest of me!
